The close proximity to Sequoia Park. Liked the mini fridge in room, and the back balcony. Air conditioning worked well. Wifi.

Very old and funky. Staff not terribly nice. No coffee/breakfast before 8am?! Way too expensive for what you get.

    Exceptional

Clean, comfortable, physically attractive site and setting. Efficient welcome and direction to our 3 rooms and their parking spots. Our party spent a single night at the sierra lodge Three Rivers following our 11.5 mile homecoming hike in nearby Sequoia National Park. We wanted showers, a quick dinner and sleeeeeep, and the Lodge was perfect and the staff very helpful.

It was convenient to Sequoia National Park.

It was an old hotel and should not be called a lodge. The windows were dirty and the corners in the bathroom were dirty.

The worst and dirty and noisy hotel I ever stayed in my life. Reception available only from 8am to 8 pm, no breakfast, as expensive as a palace in las vegas. Avoid !!!! I meet 3 families leaving at 6 am because of the noise.

    Good

Staff were very friendly and informative. Tried very hard to please and make us comfortable.

Weak water pressure in shower. Towels were clean and abundant...however, the bedding mattress pad was not clean....found hair on sheets, and black mildew in the showers. Sinks needed cleaning.

    very little

Disgusting smell permeated the room at all times but particularly when air con in use which was essential during time of our visit.Staff initially just handed over air freshener and then after further complaint put air fresheners over air con intakes. Neither worked. Eventualy we were told for some time they had been trying to solve the problem without success. Also on arrival rooms covered in cobwebs which after complaint staff removed. After a very uncomfortable night we checked out a night early and hotel did not charge for 2nd night booked and said they would deduct 25% from 1st night. We will wait and see whether we have been charged correctly as they insisted we had not been charged anything in advance whereas I had noted we had been charged and a phone call to someone at Booking was required. I will be checking my credit card bills to check.

    Superb

The room/bed were comfy. We had a great view of the mountains/forest from both sides of our room. Every thing worked well...even the WiFi which can be 'ify' when you're in the mountains/countryside. It was a short drive to the entrance of Sequoia Nat'l Park. Yea! Coffee Pot and Frig in the room! There are some great restaurants close by the hotel, one in walking distance. We Three Cafe has great food!

If you have a room on the side where the main road is and are a light sleeper, bring earplugs. While it isn't a super highway, it is the main road in/out of Sequoia National Park, so there is traffic, especially on the weekend. I had no problems sleeping with my earplugs. There is no access to the river that runs behind the hotel. Breakfast is minimal.

The location to entrance into Sequoia National Park was only 4 miles away. The view of the mountains around the Lodge was nice. The hotel staff was nice.

It was old and outdated. The carpet was old and dirty just from years of use. The chairs were so worn there was no cushioning left in them! Even though the room was clean it just had a seedy feel to it. I expected more for $85+ a night! The breakfast was as advertised, sweet rolls. Nothing that a diabetic could eat. The fresh fruit (oranges) were sliced so you couldn't take a whole one for yourself. The shower heads were so low even my 5' height I had to duck! The pool wasn't heated, it was ice cold. (But it was warmer than the snow fed creek!

    Fabulous

About a 7 mile drive from lodge to Giant Sequoia Park. Quiet. Great scenery. Friendly staff. Lobby done like a mountain lodge with stuffed animals on walls, etc. Room was like a lodge and also had bed cover with animals on it. Oatmeal, pastries, coffee/tea, sliced oranges, continental breakfast. Souvenir post cards & magazines (magazines are similar to National Geographic with info and great, large pictures of the park/trees) at fair prices. Pool was too cold for us even in May. Small, downtown area (about a mile away) has souvenirs, gourmet ice cream, German chocolate store, gas station (not too overpriced), post office, a couple of places to eat, and a small-medium sized grocery/etc store.

Shower water conservation nozzle made it hard to rinse. Metro pcs does not work from post office up to park (could only send text from post office). Would not want to arrive at night (dark, winding, narrow mountain roads). Some people may not like the stuffed animals in the lobby. Parking spaces are tight!

    Good

The staff (desk, owner, maid) was friendly and helpful, and the location was beautiful. Good internet service. Decent budget stay.

Could have been cleaner (mildew on shower curtains, etc.), strong fabric softener used on laundry (I am fragrance sensitive).

    Fabulous

Close proximity to the Sequoia National Park entrance. Also, the availability of barbeques on site.

The room was a bit outdated and had a bad odor.

    Fabulous

Because of the location of our room, the night road noise was pretty loud.

Excellent place and a great service!!! I love this place!!! Wonderful view!!! We had a great time with my husband. My husband after open heart surgery, and I tried to find a good place for him for resting and fresh air. It was excellent weekend! Sequoia National park is close. Also, it was good price. I would like to stay again at this hotel.
